Lynn Lessell Launches New Books to Help Professionals Turn Stress into “Power with Purpose”
Boca Raton, Fla., May 2026 — Award-winning Identity Coach™ Lynn Lessell has released two new companion books, each created to support professionals navigating stress, burnout, and disconnection from self: Transforming Pain into Power: A Professional Man’s Guide to Reclaiming Identity and Transforming Pain into Power: A Professional Woman’s Guide to Reclaiming Identity. Now live on Amazon, the books open a timely conversation about mental health, identity, and the emotional cost of constantly “holding it all together” at work and at home.
Timed with Mental Health Awareness Month, the dual release offers practical, reflective guidance for men and women who appear successful on the outside but feel depleted, pressured, or disconnected on the inside. The books explore how hidden pain often manifests in workplace performance, communication, relationships, and leadership, and invite readers to move beyond silent endurance toward authenticity, resilience, and renewal.
“These books were written for the professionals who keep showing up for everyone else while quietly carrying stress, pain, and pressure of their own,” said Lessell. “My hope is that readers see themselves in these pages and realize they do not have to lose themselves in order to lead, achieve, or care for others.”
Lessell, founder of Itz Why LLC and Inner Power Partners®, is known for helping individuals and professionals rise above adversity and reclaim their authentic power. Her work centers on identity, leadership, and personal transformation, with an emphasis on supporting people through difficult transitions with practical tools and compassionate insight.
A Chamber event titled From Pain to Power: Mental Health, Identity, and the Workplace is planned for May 20 and will feature Lessell alongside Certified Nutritionist Susan Shub and Licensed Clinical Social Worker Joe Milisitz in a discussion of workplace well-being, identity, and practical strategies for resilience. A second community-centered event is also planned for June 10 at Batch Delray.
