The bill would raise the SBA loan limit for domestic manufacturers from five million dollars to ten million dollars and increase the guarantee limits for SBA 7(a) and 504 loans. This helps small and mid-sized manufacturers buy equipment, expand their facilities, update machinery or scale their production. It has already passed the House and is now moving to the Senate.

Here is where it gets interesting. These increased loan benefits only apply to companies whose production is fully located in the United States. If even a small part of your supply chain is produced internationally, you would not qualify for the higher limits.
